Itinerary.


After breakfast at your hotel we pick you up in Cusco around 8:00 am. We will head for the small town of Chinchero. The trip takes around an hour and is a beautiful drive through the mountains giving you the most spectacular views. You will discover immense snow-capped mountains, vast cornfields and beautiful villages.

When we arrive, you will enjoy a demonstration of handmade textiles by local women. They are experts in the art, and it is a tradition that has existed for hundreds of years with totally natural dyes.

Soon we will be on the road again and we will take our transport to Moray. You are sure to be amazed by the unique formation of the place that many compare to an amphitheater. However, it was actually a gigantic Inca agricultural laboratory. Your guide will explain more about the history of the site and you will have plenty of time to explore and take some photos.

the Salineras de Maras (Salt flats) are very often combined wiith a trip to Moray as they’re located very close.. It is only another 3km away and will surprise you once again with views that you have probably never seen before. The place has been producing salt since ancient times and there are more than 3,000 salt pools that are filled daily with groundwater.You will have at your disposal a surreal landscape to take the most incredible photographs with the salt flats in the foreground. We will then return to Cusco, arriving in the city just in time so you can find a good place for lunch.

To start this tour, do they pick us up at our hotel?

Yes, free pick up in Hotels, Hostels, Houses, AirBnB within the historic center of the city of Cusco. Contact support if you want us to pick you up anywhere in the Sacred Valley.

How long in advance should I make my reservation?

We recommend that you do this many months in advance. You must make the reservation at least 20 days in advance. Since the spaces in Machu Picchu are quickly exhausted.

Do I need to make a deposit to guarantee my reservation?

Yes, no reservation will be guaranteed unless you have made a payment of a deposit of 50% per person through our 2 payment methods mentioned in our Book Now form.

What about the outstanding balance?

The outstanding balance can be given in cash the day before your trip in Cusco, it can be in dollars or soles, and if you prefer to use PayPal (a service fee of 6% applies). Also, you can pay us only by Visa credit card at our office (5% service fee applies).

What is the best time to do the excursion?

Peru is a very large country with many different climates, for that reason it would be very difficult to define a good time to visit different places. However, we consider that the best season is from April to December.

Where will the information session take place?

This meeting will be held the night before the departure of the tour in the lobby of your hotel, apartment, hostel or family home in Cusco. You could also do it at our office located on street Portal de panes 123, office 201 (second floor). Plaza de armas de Cusco.

What do I have to bring?

What to bring: Well-charged cameras, sunglasses, comfortable clothes and shoes, hat, sunscreen, repellent, extra power battery, jacket, small backpack with enough clothes to spend the night.

Can I store my luggage in your office?

Of course! During the trip, you can leave or store the things that you will not take on the trek at your hotel where you are staying. Most of these establishments have warehouses where they will store your things (at no extra cost). If you do not trust the place where you are staying, we will gladly store your belongings in our office.
