Itinerary.
Pick up at your hotel at 06:30. At 7:00 am.
We drive 40 minutes north. Our first visit will be to the archaeological center of Chinchero, a city that still preserves the original Inca cemetery and is located in a very important agricultural area.
The Churches in the Sacred Valley are colonial and are built on the basis of the Inca temples. The artisans offer fabrics made with ancestral local techniques.
We continue our journey to the Inca de Moray Agricultural Experimental Center, a circular system of built terraces, microclimatic terraces for experimental purposes such as domestication, acclimatization, hybridization and general experimentation with plants.
Then we will visit the Salineras de Maras, explored since pre-Inca times. It is located at more than 3,000 shallow pools owned by almost 380 families.
The salt water comes from natural springs on the same hill called Qoripukiu (gold spring) after enjoying a buffet lunch of products from the Sacred Valley in Urubamba.
Then we go to the Archaeological Center of Ollantaytambo, which was an administrative, military, religious, social and economic center during the Inca times and which is also the starting point to reach the citadel of Machu Picchu.
In Ollantaytambo we visit the most important stone constructions, such as the large stone terraces, the Temple of the Sun and the fountain of the Baños de la Princesa.
Then we go to the archaeological center of Pisaq. Their lands were exploited through intelligent platform systems with their respective irrigation channels that allowed the almost exclusive cultivation of the best corn in the world.
At the end of the tour we will return to the city of Cusco and arrive in Cusco around 7:00 pm.

How long in advance should I make my reservation?
We recommend that you do this many months in advance. You must make the reservation at least 20 days in advance. Since the spaces in Machu Picchu are quickly exhausted.
Do I need to make a deposit to guarantee my reservation?
Yes, no reservation will be guaranteed unless you have made a payment of a deposit of 50% per person through our 2 payment methods mentioned in our Book Now form.
What about the outstanding balance?
The outstanding balance can be given in cash the day before your trip in Cusco, it can be in dollars or soles, and if you prefer to use PayPal (a service fee of 6% applies). Also, you can pay us only by Visa credit card at our office (5% service fee applies).

What is the best time to do the excursion?
Peru is a very large country with many different climates, for that reason it would be very difficult to define a good time to visit different places. However, we consider that the best season is from April to December.
Where will the information session take place?
This meeting will be held the night before the departure of the tour in the lobby of your hotel, apartment, hostel or family home in Cusco. You could also do it at our office located on street Portal de panes 123, office 201 (second floor). Plaza de armas de Cusco.
What do I have to bring?
What to bring: Well-charged cameras, sunglasses, comfortable clothes and shoes, hat, sunscreen, repellent, extra power battery, jacket, small backpack with enough clothes to spend the night.
Can I store my luggage in your office?
Of course! During the trip, you can leave or store the things that you will not take on the trek at your hotel where you are staying. Most of these establishments have warehouses where they will store your things (at no extra cost). If you do not trust the place where you are staying, we will gladly store your belongings in our office.
